A Snowy Night In Georgia

Ah, yes...
Snow.
So pretty from behind a window, looking out.
I'm visiting my youngest son and family.
And snow was definitely NOT on the agenda of this California-girl!

This is my granddaughter -
Dreaming about the forecasted snow, no doubt.

Yes. I see the smile. :)

And heeere it is -

A dream come true!!
(For the kids.)

To continue the excitement, it was suggested to me,
(by a blow to the head) that a pillow-fight was in order.

When I got a chance,
I smacked her with her pillow and with a little adjusting,
got this picture. Our very own little princess.

Pillow fights are not kind to a girls hairdo.
What's not shown (to protect your retinas) is mine -
which didn't look much better.
The girl knows how to fling a pillow!
Wasn't looking forward to brushing that later! (OR mine.)

Finally! Time for playing in the snow!!

Better them, than me!!

One last snow-frisbee before the girls escape!
(He missed.)

This one had the right idea -
Stay in where it's toasty-warm and play.

That hair is just waiting for a pillow-fight!

My six year old grandson fell asleep while watching Oregon play.
This alone will make him mad.

The fact that they lost, will make him even madder!
Big time.

In the morning I woke up to...
Teeth.

Later that day I couldn't resist...
Her first pillow-fight!

She loved it!!
(I see many more in her future! Oh yeah!!)

FOOTBALL:

" You have to play this game
like somebody just hit your mother with a two-by-four."

- Dan Birdwell

"If a man watches three football games in a row,
he should be declared legally dead."

- Erma Bombeck

" Sharks are as tough as those football fans who take their shirts off
during the games in Chicago, in January. Only more intelligent."

- Dave Barry

"The reason women don't play football is that eleven of them
would never wear the same outfit in public."

- Phyllis Diller

There are SO many things to love!
I love "Followers" and comments too!
(Thank you!)

Signing off for now,

  7. If you have snow for at least 4 months of every year, you forget how charming, how exciting, how delightful it can be.
