Little Girl, Big Heart.

Should I, or shouldn't I?! Ohhh, I don't knooow!!

Okay! HERE I GO!!!!

Awww, I looove youuu!!

Worms.
We should all love our worms.
Or not.

She is our first grandchild. A treasure to this day.
She's eighteen and going to college now.
How the hey did that happen?! Not the college part.
She's smart. She was Valedictorian at her graduation.
She didn't get it from me. I had to google 'Valedictorian'
to find out how to spell it.
I miss her! ~ ~

"A three year old child is a being who gets almost as much fun out of a fifty six dollar set of swings, as it does out of finding a small green worm."
- Bill Vaughn

"Even if you've been fishing for three hours and haven't gotten anything except poison Ivy and sunburn, you're still better off than the worm."
- Unknown

"I think we consider too much the good luck of the early bird and not enough the bad luck of the early worm."
- Franklin D. Roosevelt

"We are all worms, but I do believe I am a glow worm."
- Winston Churchill

There are SO many things to love!
I love "Followers" and comments too!
Thank you.

  2. I had a worm bin for years instead of a compost bin and I loved all those worms provided for us- dirt for planting and worm juice for watering what's growing. Good for your granddaughter and may she succeed in college.

  6. Such a sweet and beautiful girl...then AND now! Clearly oh-so smart, too. And clearly oh-so loved by you. Wonderful pics and post.

Oh, and speaking of worms: The glow worms I saved from my daughters' childhood are always THE hit at bedtime when my grandson visits, as he did last week. He LOVES the worms!

    Happy day to you!

  8. She is absolutely lovely! I am at the tail-end of full-time parenting and am looking forward to the grandchild days whenever my girls are ready. Does that go as quickly as the parenting part? I sure hope not;)

    Congratulations!
